today B came for a denture checkup. usually i comment on my patients' nails. "oh, that's a pretty colour!" or "i really like that design!"
i dunno if B was sad that i didn't say anything right away this time. coz she kept looking at me, then looking at her nails, then looking at me, then at her nails. so finally i caved and said, "ooh! you just did your nails again! nice summer colours to brighten a cold winter day!"
actually i didn't really say that, coz i spoke in spanish. whatever i said probably translated to, "how pretty are your nails! colours for summer. not winter."
i need to work on spanish and linguistic nuances.

the other ad that makes me laugh on septa is for this sam bernstein type lawyer named justin bieber. expect it's justin m. bieber. i wonder how many pre-teen girls call the number on the poster.
