today's devotion, susan asked us to think about "why is God amazing?"
it took me a long time.
because i'm not a morning person.
and i wasn't thrilled about monday mornings.

finally, 3.5 hours later at lunch i walked to dunkin' donuts and had to pass through the crowd that waits for the bus on the corner.

God is amazing because there are so many people in this small land area, and everyone is so different. very amazing to me.

more amazing is that God actually cares.

i wonder why. and that's what amazes me.

anyway, had a good renewed realization that my work is work, but really it's not 'work'. some of my most joyful moments were on the field. God reminded me that i'm still on the field. in this country that is not my country of birth.
